A Gift of Compassion

I spent the majority of today extremely stressed out. Stressed out by family matter, stressed out by financial problems, stressed out by work and stressed out by Christmas. All that stress seem to melt away though when I stumble across Compassion International through a Facebook status. I was reminded once again how blessed I am. Blessed with the people in my life and for everything else {the good and the bad}. My heart started filling up with hope. Hope for those children, hope for myself and hope for those around me.

Compassion International exists as a Christian child advocacy ministry that releases children from spiritual, economic, social and physical poverty and enables them to become responsible, fulfilled Christian adults.

Compassion International have programs where you can Sponsor a Child or give a Happy Birthday where $100 helps provide a woman in poverty access to a skilled attendant during the birth of her child.

They also have a Gifts of Compassion catalog with items like...
