I love you too, Mr.Darcy!

What I"m about to share with you, will soon {waiting till my next pay check} be one of my most favorite thing to own in the world!! Pride and Prejudice is one of my most favorite book {I love the movies too}, so when I saw this mug on Kyoko tumblr I kind of went crazy!!!!! I remember seeing the mug and made an extremely high pitch noise and things seriously got blurry for the next 10 minutes because I was in pure la la land over the joy of this discovery. Are you ready for it?

I am in full blown SWOON mode. You can get this mug {best mug ever!!} along with other lovely Jane Austen inspired creations from this delightful {and totally awesome} etsy shop, Brookish.

Also check out this Pride and Prejudice inspired shoot over at Grey Likes Weddings. This was the first thing I woke up to in my google reader this morning and I seriously couldn't be more excited to be awake.

A Pretty Palette: Blush and Peach

I am loving the color palette of blush and peach right now. I got to see this palette in action over the weekend from a wedding we did at the eclectic and modern Stoneleigh Hotel in Dallas. Here are a few low quality shots from phone.

How to throw a party: cute name cards idea

I'm a huge fan of party favors. I also have a thing for multiple purposes object in party decor. That is why I love love love the potted plants with the name card above spotted on Caroline Armelle's blog. It would be such a sweet party favor and a creative way to display the name cards {or you can use it as place cards}. I can also see using the potted plant as part of the table decor.

You can find the diy tutorial for the cute place cards/name cards on Caroline Armelle's blog. What do you think of party flavors? and what do you think of multiple purposes object in party decor?

All photos from Armelle's blog.

Monochromatic Bridesmaid Bouquets

I am in love with monochromatic bridesmaid bouquets. I think monochromatic {sticking to one color or color family} bouquets look so lush and beautiful.

I love these yellow bridesmaids bouquets with daffodils, double tulips, fringe tulips and billy balls.

I love that Carissa Jones {she's one of my designs guru/super star} from JL Designs finished each bouquet with a different combination of trims and buttons.

Don't you love these mix and match monochromatic bouquets? I absolutely love them. I think it would really make each of the bridesmaids feel special to have each of their bouquets different than the others.

Crooked Stove Top

Why the name Crooked Stove Top? Is pretty simple, my stove top is crooked {and slanted}. At first cooking was a challenge, because everything would lean to one side and you have to move the pots and pans around for a little bit till you find a good spot. You also have to keep turning the pan every 5 minutes or so if you're frying or grilling something, because one side cook faster than the other. You think it would drive me crazy, well it did at first. But with time having a crooked stove top kind of taught me to embrace the imperfections in life. It could be quite beautiful. I think our crooked stove top will be a fun memory from our first home together for the hubby and I later on in life.

A few imperfections that I find beautiful.

A perfect example of embracing imperfections from Apartment Therapy.

I love the idea of using those imperfect wood planks as art from Design Sponge.

I love love this natural rough and uncut diamond ring from Janish Jewels {spotted on Oh, hello friend}.

the stove top is from Crumpled Envelope {sent to me by my friend Stefanie}
